The Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (PACVB) is a visitor's resource for area services, dining, attractions,accommodations and events in the Peoria Area. We are a nonprofit,member based organization with the goal of welcoming overnight visitors to our area. Through our tourism department, convention sales, sports, and communications we are your one-stop-shop when it comes to what the Peoria Area can offer.

The E.L.I.T.E. Youth Program is an intensive 10-week, in-school job training program aimed at preparing high school youth for competitive employment. Students receive training in social skills, CPR, interviewing for a job, money management, customer service, and other imperative job skills. Once students have completed the curriculum, they are eligible to apply for certification from a community panel. Students can only graduate from the E.L.I.T.E. program after being certified. E.L.I.T.E. graduates then have the opportunity to interview for a part-time job from an Employer of CHOICE.

Teen Challenge International, USA, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, provides leadership and services to the entire network of Teen Challenge ministries throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The Executive Director of Teen Challenge USA serves as a national representative and spokesman for the constituency of Teen Challenge ministries. The role of the National Office is to provide leadership by way of accreditation standards, curriculum distribution, a referral source for people who need Teen Challenge’s services, training, and management assistance in order to enable each of the local Teen Challenge ministries to accomplish their mission.
